- Yes, it is more robust. It has had many years of testing by lots and lots
- of people. Sure, it's complicated to set up. But so is hacking nntp for
- the same function. Just about everything that can go wrong with a UUCP
- setup can go wrong with a dialup nntp setup. The difference is that the
- former is well defined and mostly debugged. The later is a custom hack.
